Cheese trip – cancellation
Unfortunately the Slow Food Bedford outing to the British Cheese Festival is now cancelled (not enough people signed-up). But several people from the SF Bedford group will be making their own trips west, so there will be some familiar faces amongst the fragrant stalls!

Great British Cheese Festival
Slow Food Bedford’s next event is a trip to the British Cheese Festival on 29th September at Millets Farm Centre in Oxfordshire. As well as the attractions of the festival, Millets Farm Centre has a food hall, fishmonger’s and many other wonderful food havens to discover. If you would like to attend, please contact Sue as soon as possible because there will only be limited spaces available for this event. Event details

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness…
One of SF Bedford’s projects is to help promote the Parkwood Orchard, on Brickhill Drive, which is open to the public. Those members who have recently visited the site report is full of fruit. If you want to know more about this unusual collection of trees, the Parkwood Orchard catalogue has lots of details.
